Book Review: Home Schooling From Scratch
Mary Potter Kenyon stepped out in faith and began homeschooling her Kinder-age child at the same time that she was expecting a baby and her husband lost his job. I think that should give you an idea as to how much of an expert she is on this particular topic!
This is a great little book with many more tips than to just use your library--and with tips that go beyond the scope of how to get curiculum materials cheaply. She talks briefly about organizing, cooking, clothing, and couponing as well as starting a home business to help finance your homeschool.
Sprinkled throughout the book are tips and thoughts from many different homschool moms and their is a nice, if dated (no web addresses), source list in the back.
