Book Review: The Complete Home Learning Sourcebook
The copyright date on the copy of this book that I have is 1998--which makes the information contained within it dated. However, there are so many hundreds and hundreds of resources listed here that you should be able to find many of the ones you are looking for.
I am slowly working my way through, pen and paper in hand to take notes; I will probably have to check this book out from the library many times!
One thing I like about this book is that it is not just a gigantic list of resources. It is well-organized, and each section begins with an essay written by Rebecca Rupp, the author. These introductory essays are written from her personal experience and even include diary entries that she wrote when her boys were various ages. I always like to see these glimpses into other people's lives, but this is another unschooler who was extremely patient with the age at which her boys read.
As I check out the resources that I come across in this book I will share at least some of them with you. I have already added a couple of sources to my links list on the left. This is one of those books that is worth having your own copy of so you can annotate and bend pages!
